Signs of Valvular Dysfunction:

Chest pain or palpitations

Easily fatigued or short of breath

Unable to exercise

Feelings of lightheadedness

Swollen ankles, feet, or abdomen
Risks of Symptoms:

Symptoms do not indicate how serious one's valve disease is.

One must consider the extent of their symptoms to see how they progress.

Some symptoms do not show until there is already significant damage.
-
One must see a healthcare provider when symptoms are first recognized and as they progress.
